Objective​

Position the Cassowary Coast as a desirable, stand-alone domestic and international all-year-round tourism destination.

Connect with visitors and inspire them to explore the region through lifestyle and adventure activities.

What we did

Secured and placed Red Bull Defiance, Australia’s largest and richest outdoor adventure race on the Cassowary Coast. The 2 day event was based at Mission Beach and made its way from Rainforest to Reef showcasing the region to over 150 athletes from around the world.

The event was broadcast on Red Bull’s digital and social channels with a final post produced content piece delivered on Red Bull TV. We leveraged the event using some of Australia’s highest profile influencers and media outlets such as Bondi Rescue, GQ Magazine, Mens Health, Wide World of Sport and Ch 7.

We then developed a series of POV content pieces with former Olympic athlete and winner of the inaugural Australian Red Bull Defiance Courtney Atkinson. Courtney is a Red Bull ambassador and influencer in the world of outdoor adventure making him the perfect fit.
