Inviting the world for a bike ride
The Tour de Brisbane is the City’s newest mass participation event and fundraises for the Amy Gillett Foundation by rocking two wheels and celebrating Brisbane on the bike.
This is a UCI sanctioned event featuring 8km, 45km and 110km closed road rides and a fully supported cycling experience.
The Tour de Brisbane encourages people of all abilities to be a part of Brisbane’s growing cycling community.
Objectives
- Develop and execute a new and refreshed brand to represent each of the cycling events
- Develop and execute the marketing strategy
- Position Brisbane as a premier cycling destination for professional and recreational cyclists
Outcomes
- Developed a World Class brand in consultation with Tourism Events Queensland, Brisbane Marketing and the UCI
- Secured over 3,000 registrations in the inaugural year
- Generated over $1 million PR and Media value
